"Awake" but still looking for answers.
« on: February 29, 2016, 05:47:15 pm »
Hey Jed!

I've had experienced where I saw that I am the witness, life is just happening and all of that. But there is still searching for answers happening. I know that I don't need anything to be content other than 'now' but I still have the urge to figure out what's happening in this "world", in maya.
Many say that consciousness is eternal and it cannot die. Personally, I can't be convinced of this. Maybe my consciousness die's after physical death, maybe it was a byproduct of the brain after all. Can you help guide to me what is happening in this crazy matrix?

Hi Roman:

Welcome to the forum.

Look and see, what were you before you were born. It will be the same after you die. But death only applies to what is born, only a body/space suit.

The real you was not born and hence, can never die. Find the real you.

Love ya, Jed.

In experience the only constant "thing" is consciousness. Ok, so I know that in experience that there is consciousness and it's contents, now what?

You said "Look and see, what were you before you were born."

I don't know if I existed before I was born, so I can't say anything about this.

Hey Jed,

So does that imply that I can't know for sure? That this question will always be a mystery?

The Mystery has been a mystery since the beginning of non-existent time. It is unknowable. To know it would make you larger than It. Impossible.

Love ya, Jed.
