There is nothing to do because there is nothing which can be done. It is only in thought where the sense of doing and doership exists. Believing that something can be done maintains the attachment that what is perceived in thought is real.

Thoughts are watched without a need to do anything other than watch and not be lost to them. The tendency to be lost to them is often accompanied by a feeling or sensation which serves as a distraction. Those, no mater how uncomfortable, are left to burn themselves out with as little involvement as possible.

There's officially nothing that I can do ... and that is clearly understood.

This feels like I'm reaching inside myself, pulling the me out kicking and screaming and laying it bare on a dissecting table of unwavering awareness. The me tries to sink back in but is yanked out of hiding again and again to be dissolved. A one way ticket to complete annihilation.

Ultimately this will prove to be another story that never was ...

Everything needed to believe the me is fully encapsulated within the thought stream.

It's becoming increasingly clear that I am not this thin film of body-mind-story-experience.

There's a strong whiff of freedom ...

Morning ethereal 'me' continues to start up in the vain attempt of throwing me off the trail. At time it feels like I'm being re-born and being forcibly pushed through the elastic ego membrane as I surrender to whatever arises. Uncomfortable feelings, uncertaintly, misguided importance - so what; it's all a pack of lies which eventually resolves under the knives of awareness and understanding, resulting in more absence-presence, clarity and certainty.

Exhausting ... but there's a knowing, increasingly so day-by-day, that my will is stronger than anything ego has to throw at me.

Surrender ... like easing yourself slowly into a hot bath ... inch by inch until you are completely submerged and no longer aware of discomfort.

I see completely how I've been in my own way. Life becomes easier when everything is just allowed to happen without judgement or a sense of participation.

Getting in your own way... man, consider what a waste of energy that is. Just thinking of it just makes me tired.

Love ya, Jed.

Nothing which is perceived is what I am.

The observed ‘I’ in mind cannot be found - there is no separate ‘me’ to which the ‘I’ relates.

There is no outside or inside, there is only here.

What I am does not move but all appearances move within me.

There is no separation between what I am and everything which appears.

I am nothing but I am everywhere.

As I continue to thin out and disappear, the solidity of the world reduces.

There seems to be shift in both the understand of and the relationship with what is experienced. The me in mind is being understood more and more as not me in the sense that it can’t possibly be what I am.

Hard to explain really but reflects the growing clarity and conviction that the I that I thought I was has been lived, choiceless.

All this is leading to the importance of things diminishing.

The only importances are those assigned by mind. They don't really exist but letting go of them is quite useful.

Love ya, Jed.

Thought contains everything needed to be believed but nothing perceived can be the perceiver.

Curiously, a perceiver cannot be found, there is only perceiving.

Looking at thought with a knowing which lies outside of thought.

This illusion can only be fully seen as illusion when this knowing is pure and certain.

This illusion includes the idea that anything is happening or needs to be figured out.
