Hello Mr Mckenna
I thought I was not going to be talking with you again(I actually deleted my account 2 times) but I wanted to discuss something. It was about my enlightenment experience. I was sitting reading your book Theory of Everything(Thank You) on my bed. It was just around the atman brahman thing that I felt a shock through my body.It was like my awareness was leaving my body. The next few weeks it felt so strange, it was like I knew everything there is to know(It never left). The shock that i felt was supposed to be the final gate i think. It reminded me of the BAM factor and I can see where it comes from. I wondered whether I was done or not for a while like you talked in the book but it was more like "yeah thats it".

As your a teacher I wanted to ask you whether the experience was similar with you or one of your students?
Also I am almost 18 right now. Is it weird to have all this so young?(probably your books accelerated my progress). I cant relate much to ppl my age.
I just want to get this stuff out of my system really and move on with this enlightenment stuff.I feel so grateful to find your books :)

I certainly had similar experiences but I knew to ignore them and move on, I suggest you do the same.

Love ya, Jed

Yes ofcourse...I think I was wondering what the whole journey meant for me and where I will be going next. I now understand the whole point of ignoring any kind of enlightenment experiences as they are not the end goal.
Thank You

I think Im not supposed to post more than one post a day(sry).
...Thats what I was concerned with, I see no further. After the experience, it was done. If there was further, I would love to go there.
There are two basic realisations I got from it:
1)There is only Absolute Nothingness(Thats the whole thing to realise i think)
2)I cant locate myself in space and time
I think I was done, I wanted to come here for H/A questions if they come up. Am I wrong lol? That would be amusing to find out..

If you are asking if you are done, sorry.... you are not. Done is done and one knows it.

H/A is a different story. Ask your questions regarding that.

Love ya, Jed.

Hi,
I was joking and not asking.Yes I already know I have been done for a while(around 2 yrs)  because all the questions disappeared. There is nothing to prove anyway. I didn't want to come off as arrogant like oh I am enlightened. I just wanted to talk to somebody about it since there are no real ashrams around me and if there are, I don't know if they are legit.Anyway there is nothing much to talk about T/R other than what it is.I came here for some general life tips as in H/A and I might start a new thread on it :)
Thank You
Whew...
P.S I think the misunderstanding comes from the fact that the purpose of this forum is to make progress and not to recollect experiences and Ill stick to that in H/A.Sorry If I made your job harder Mr.Meckenna :)

All in the course of time...as you realize it's just stories meeting other stories, you will gently and naturally find yourself just loosing interest in it. Most of what people call friends, lover or relationships is just a collection of memories, stories and habits.

Not bad, not good, but strangely perfect.

Love ya, Jed.
