Brief Intro & 3 Q's to Start
« on: November 06, 2014, 04:09:18 pm »
Steps taken to where I am now:

paradigm shift w/in the dreamstate

went possitive route with circumstances

breathing

witnessing

went very fast once I started investigating, kept going beyond (further) as was shoved out of where I was at any point, thinking I was done – ha ha, right!

felt like I was psychotic

finally faced fears, not death as that came later

teacher/guru – his bottom line:
First see that appearance(mind)itself is Miraculous. Without the first appearance(illusion) there would be no other illusions. Your engagements are with illusions only. This is a hard pill to swallow. The easiest way of expressing it is, your true nature is No Mind or Pure Mind or Pure Knowing. Within your No Mind has APPEARED mind. With this appearance everything perceived and conceived is nothing but Manifest mind. It cannot be stressed enough, that attachment to phenonema(mind manifestations) is the main stumbling block to enlightenment.

nothingness & neti neti ripped my world apart

didn't know how to talk nor act

was a control freak

knew there had to be directness, without all the extra stuff attached

learned beliefs were false

testing 2014

let go of tiller and started trusting no matter what ego says or how emotions are running

read your books

HA – working on

Q: rational mind vs egoic mind

Q: spiritual inertia at work resisting motion and change

Q: how we feel vs act about a situation...fight against it w/out attaching wrongness

TY for this forum!!

Dear Pixy:

Thank you and welcome.

First a little grammar lesson. I'm assuming your 'Q's are questions, but they are not. This may seem picky but it's a human communication error. It hard enough to talk about the impossible so we have to get our com skills honed a little. I'm not picking on you as I'll turn this into a rant for all to take a shot at. Let me give you an example. There are four things you can say,

1.) a question,
2.) an assertion,
3.) a declaration, and
4.) a promise.

Your assignment is to define each and give me an example.

Look forward to hearing back, now put on that thinking cap.

Love ya, Jed.

Love ya, Jed.

Pick away, lol, I need this and am ready for what it takes...here is my "assignment"  ;D

1. question: a sentence worded or expressed so as to elicit information; ask questions of (someone), especially in an official context
example: I have some questions about a few things you spoke about in the 3rd book of the trilogy.

2. assertion: a confident and forceful statement of fact or belief; the action of stating something or exercising authority confidently and forcefully
example: I know that letting go and allowing flow is the best way to live.

3. declaration: a formal or explicit statement or announcement; the formal announcement of the beginning of a state or condition
example: I am T/R and working on HA.

4. promise: a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen; assure someone that one will definitely do, give, or arrange something; undertake or declare that something will happen
example: I promise to take any suggestions/actions on becoming a human adult without offense.

I will restate my questions in real question form after hearing back from you.

Lova ya,
Denise  :P

That's a pretty good explanation of those term,

NOW...

make an assertion about something (out there),
make a declaration about you,
ask me a question, and
see if I promise you something.

Love ya, Jed.

No guarantees now.

There is no thing out there, no one that can help you.

I let go of the tiller and my world turned upside down.

Are the rational mind and egoic mind the same thing?

Egoic is always about self and rational is based on logic/laws.

The rational mind then to me is that tool to use when thinking is needed and egoic is the mind constantly on trying to keep it's continuity, lol, so funny it thinks there is any continuity for it... :D

I really liked your idea in the Spiritual Warfare book on a book about Kill Your Parents (so you can grow up)! After reading that I thought that it would be a fun book to write but would be real short lol...I'd say do it and grow up, period. Over the last year I started a couple of books but won't ever finish them as where I am now is nowhere near where I was and am so glad I didn't. My path was a path that no longer exists, as it didn't before either except in my pea brain lol.

The day I posted my 1st post was the day the open door I was awaiting for, opened and kicked my ars out. I was mad, no longer, lost a lot of stuff as well as a business partnership but who cares. Just living is enough for me. In the next few years I will get to enjoy grandbabies which is cool. Letting go of the tiller, fully, was the best thing I could ever do, tho it was very hard for me at first cuz I was still trying to hang onto control.

My thoughts finally started exploding in my head recently, which was cool, no attachments to them anymore, loving that! Mainly I came here to make sure I am HAing ok as I have T/Red - yeah mine came first and I didn't know how to act anymore so just isolated myself instead. And I so agree that this is not something we find, it finds us - there is no other way as you explain to people. I tried clinging to something, as we all do, and your books helped me through that.

The 3rd book is my favorite and was the one I heard the most criticism with from another book. I would have read it a long time ago but it wasn't time yet and I had no inkling to even seek you out at the time. It was a book I read about a year and a half ago then reread last month. I looked up any McKenna pdfs and found a couple then bought a couple on Kindle, love em! I rarely ever reread a book on anything "spiritual" but I have yours and 2 others, one of which led me to you - or I mean I led myself to you, ha ha ha.

Yes, this whole last year has been a crazy ride for me, please don't knock the short time, it wasn't "me" at all...everytime I "learned" anything, within 2 weeks to 1 month I was being pushed further, further, further!! It was crazy but am so glad. So, now I am comfortable knowing absolutely nothing, its actually non suffocating.

That is all for now...thank you for giving me a place to chat with you, I was thrilled when I found out - not thrilled anymore, just grateful you are still around for us to chat with in a strict format, which I also love. Some are a tad too much for me and the crosstalk would end up in some hurt feelings, lol!

Love ya,
Denise  :P
