Call Me Steph :)
« on: July 27, 2017, 11:23:52 am »
Hi, I recently read The Damndest Thing and Spiritually Incorrect Enlightenment and the writing resonated with me.
I'm not sure if I'm on that path right now, so I have two questions.

1. How would I know if I'm on the path to Truth Realization? (Or Human Adulthood, if that's the case)
2. For Self Autolysis, is there a difference if it is approached chaotically or in an orderly manner?

Hi Steph:

Thanks for you questions.

1.) You are ask about something to do with mind, (right or wrong path) and this has nothing to do with mind. Just set and intention and trust you are going in the most appropriate direction for you.

2.) It matters not, just do it. Write something that is true... not truthish or honest, but TRUE.

Best wishes on your pathless journey. Write anytime.

Love ya, Jed.

Jed, thank you for responding.

I don't really understand what it means to "set an intention", and I don't remember if it was in the books or not. Would you mind elaborating a little on that?

Thank you,

Steph

P.S. I was a bit blown away to realize that I was trying to write something honest or "truthish" down, rather than TRUE. I can't really wrap my mind around what makes something TRUE. But, I suppose that is irrelevant if it has nothing to do with mind.  :o

An intention is just a decision.... decide what you are going to and then go do it.

Love ya, Jed.

Mr. Jed,

I've run into a problem in the doing part of deciding what I'm going to do and then doing it. I recognize that I often make opposing decisions because I tend to change my intentions, and I do this to the point of dysfunction.
It is clear to me that I am the one creating these obstacles for myself, but I don't know how to stop being like a yo-yo. It is very chaotic and confusing. Some days it seems like I want the opposite of what I was working towards just the day before.

How long should I stick to the decision I make?
Should I trust that I'm going in the most appropriate direction for me even when it seems like some pretty big sacrifices are necessary?
Is it supposed to be painful?

Thank you in advance.
-Steph

The only pain you are experiencing is the pain of, "I, me, my and mine''. Without those suffering disappears.

Have a look see. There are some things you have to figure out yourself.

Love ya, Jed.
