Dream

If this is all a dream, why won’t I be as silly and carefree as I’d like to be all day? Why am I so afraid of what other people think? I want to have the mindset that I’m in a dream and not give a **** what other people think.

Hi Frank:

Thank you for your post and question. Tell me, how much control do you have over your night dream? Do you choose what you are going to dream about? When that monster starts chasing you do you just tell him..''Screw off... you are just an illusion in my dream''?

If you seriously want to be free to do as you please then find out who that ''you'' is who is holding you back. The reality is you are doing exactly what you want to be doing right now, but you don't know that is what you really want to do. You discontent it just a thought and I don't know what is more dreamlike than a thought.

Love ya, Jed.

Thanks Jed, this was helpful. Any tips on figuring out who that “you” is?

Hi Frank:

Find out who you are by asking ''Who am I?". But there is a catch. Be as aware as you can while reading the following. So, who are you?

Your mind immediately thinks there is an answer and it has to come up with it... all minds do because that's their job and they take it very seriously. In the realm of guru/student (ooohhh..) most questions are not intended to be answered and the best questions have no answers. ''Knowing'' is the curse of humanness. Truth knows nothing at all.

Do your best to play with questions, like someone gave you some beautiful marbles and you are just amazed by them. You hold them in your open hand and just let them roll around while you watch the sparkle and colors. So, I suggest you do the same... holding the question in an open and try not to loose you marbles.

Remember, throw out every answer you get, but never stop asking.

Love ya, Jed.
