Jed Rant: Buddhacide Part Four
« on: August 23, 2017, 03:06:40 am »
and that you love and hate, that you need attachments and aversions (drama) in order to be happy and that there is anything you really have to do, other than... just maybe... seek your True Nature.

Please keep in mind that the foregoing is also a story. Anything put into words can only be a story or metaphor as that is the nature of words. If you find value in it, if you sense there is something deeper to it than just the words, then I suggest you gently contemplate it. Let it become a part of your world until you kill all your stories. Have a little faith that I and a small number of others have done the same and it is possibly the only human endeavor worthy of any kind of devotion. Never devote yourself to any 'one', but I highly recommend devotion to the realization that Truth Is. If I can point for you don't hesitate to ask.

Love ya, Jed.

Part 3 of Buddhacide made perfect sense to me, yet I cannot grasp Part 4. I would like some clarification. For the sake of killing all my stories ;)

You say: Never devote yourself to any "one"
Yet: Recommend devotion to the realisation that Truth Is.
Isn't "one" and Truth interchangeable? That if all is one, and all that is, is Truth?
Or is Truth beyond one still? Is it none?

Hi Michiel:

Fine little difference, "one'' refers to a person and ''One'' refers to Truth, your True Nature. It's not so much that it all is Truth, however, it all arises within the infinite context of Truth.

Does that help a little.

Love ya, Jed.

The killing of the stories happen by just being aware of them.

I know all these, yet nothing dies.i still find myself dependent on dependencies, and all spiritual work seem faker than fake.

I certainly understand your frustration. How can spiritual work not be fake when your natural state is already awakened. What is also fake is the mask you wear that you are human, were born and will die someday... IT'S ALL FAKE until you find that one thingy that is real. When you realize that, you are what folks called 'enlightened'.. and that just might be the only thing worth doing in this human dream.

I don't get how to get from knowing to being. Some time ago I had an experience similar to a degree to the "mask" thing you mention. In short I was picking some sensation that seem more obvious and treat it with a "all it can show me is that I exist (because I am aware of it)". Did it with anything, a sound, my breath, an itch, etc. At some point it dawned on me "I am alone" and felt all alone, like the only one ever. I felt separated from the world and from my body as well. My body was one with the environment in the sense that it didn't feel to be mine. I pinched myself and although I felt the pain, the pain didn't hurt. All was outside, things and people as well, and people felt like things. Talking to the others felt like I was talking in my head. In the following days the separation faded away.
So, what's the trick? What makes one becoming? Because I know what, how I did it, but if I do it now it doesn't bring any change?

You just had an experience, and all experiences come and go, it's their nature. Pay them now heed, find out what all experiences occur in... that's what is at the end of the rainbow.

Yes, thanks for clearing it, but somehow it felt more honest than the way I experience things now. I guess it wasn't enough because I was still in my head, aaa, involved in my thinking[?] even though everything else was seen/felt as the mind's hallucination. Seems all I can do is to hallucinate. Is there something i can not hallucinate? I think not.

That sums it up pretty well, all experiences are hallucinations, yet there beyond that all which is the only REAL experiences, i.e., the context that all of them occur within. Seek that with all your effort.

Thank you, Jed, for your words. Always well received.
I see it's an old topic but finally I enjoyed it.
And a funny question arises:
If I imagine that 7 billions of people all at once find their true nature:
How many true natures would have been found?
And how many entities were seeking before they found?

Regarding your first question, everyone would be realizing the same thing, however, cultural, age and experience filters do remain, so it would be perceived differently by a Hindu, a Jane, a Jew, a Christian and all other add-ons. Imagine you download Word for Apple comps and then one for windows. They are essentially the same but are being seen through different platforms. While not much difference there would certainly be some.  If everyone ''got it'' then I can assure you this world would be very, very different and most probably go poof!

Your second question doesn't make sense to me, so sorry, no answer on that one.

Love ya, Jed.
