You inquiry is too vague for me to provide an answer. Please be more specific, what type of trickery are you referring to?

The "trickery" would be an aspect of the intelligence in/of Maya, that arranges the Show in such a way that is seemingly desgined to "suck me in".

It has not felt possible to simply "relax and enjoy the show" while it feels very much like the Truman show when, for example, 'God' provides a (scripted) "new love interest" or a "conversation with my best buddy" that ultimately is designed to quell the breakout spirit.

Once Truman walks through the final exit into the truer-and-broader reality, it seems there would then be an opportunity to enjoy whatever's going on, but before then it all feels scripted and unreal.

I'd have to be separate from The Show in order to be able to withdraw from it in some supposed wise way, (as what I've been taking to be Me).

If you are already separate then why would you have to withdraw from it? What if you where separate and not separate at the same time? Entertaining the impossible just might get you closer to realizing your true nature.
