Have spent the last 4-5 hours wandering through the forum, wrote you an (uncertain) email, hit SEND, and continued to wander… Only to receive an automatic reply informing me that the other forum was open again and that i should write to you there.
The reason for the email in the first place was to find a less public forum for my uncertainty and question…
BUT, it has just occurred to me that i have been consistently googling you, Iowa, flight fares to Iowa, other variations of this, etc… over the past four days - while reading Books I & II of the Trilogy - and somewhere in the back of my mind playing out the craziness which has me investigating the possibility of coming to Iowa to find you…. and NOW, i find on the forum that you are setting up a space in/near Sihanoukville. I could almost call it down the road - relative to what Iowa meant for me. Sooo....
if the possibility exists, i’d like to throw my hat in the ring - the forum, Nav series, the ashram..
me: fairly new to this, ‘spirituality’ didn’t factor in my life until about two years ago, and since then it has been a bit of a roller coaster. Many of the normal attachments of life had already been stripped away from my life before i came to Ramana - felt i ‘understood’ in retrospect once i got here. The teachings resonate, some are understood intellectually. i am a WHOLE LOT more relaxed than i was 3 years ago, oh-so-many levels of control have been observed, and surrender-to-what-is is a concept which i am reminded of on most days in my day to day. There is a deep hunger for Truth, and yet i find myself stuck on the roller coaster of books and authors, and taking that step to start digging through my own basement eludes me…
