Dear Jed,
I have done some practices for couples of years, and I am really tired of it because I can't see any progresses. But I notice that whenever I come across something I don't want to face in life, I go back to do those practices desperately. Those things I don't want to accept and face urge me to keep doing all the practices. It's like a cycling keeps going round and round and round. Do I try to escape from the reality by searching for truth? Is truth something I use to protect my ego?

Hi Vivian:

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum.

You are doing what almost all seekers do, you seek T/R in order to find some kind of relief and then use the reduction of stress as a measure of your progress. It can be if you know what you are doing, however, trying to 'use' T/R to achieve something. I suggest that you pursue it because it is, in my experience, why you are here... no other reason is required.

BUT... what you really want is not T/R, you want to become and adult. If you sense that is accurate, let me know. Also, let me know what is holding you back.

Love ya, Jed.

P.S. Don't expect me to believe you.

Hi, Jed,
I want to be free from all the worries, fear,  anxiety, should and shouldn't, the sense of uncertainty, insecurity and worthlessness. Is it how an adult is? If yes, then it is what I want. I am not sure if it's all the emotion I mentioned above hold me back. I have a believe that if I live without them I would be destroyed, used or hurt by others.

 Hi Vivien:

If you have a believe that if you live without them you would be destroyed, used or hurt by others, then you would be nuts to let them go. Yes, that freedom is definitely adultish, but you are not ready for that yet.

So, don't worry about it, just do what arises next.

Love ya, Jed.

Hi, Jed
You ever mentioned the context of humans' life. How does one know what his context is? And can it be changed? Or is it like something destined?

The ''context'' is the contain of all that appears to arise. There is no one to change it because you, as you think you are, do not exist.

Dear Jed
You ever said "the way out is always through". I sink myself in fear which is my main emotion recently. I have tried to experience this emotion fully for a period of time. But it's still there, never leave. What else can I do? Or should I keep doing what I am doing? Thanks.

Vivien

Hi there:

There are methods in the Series that are very helpful in getting through such things as fear. They take some training and dedication to learn. For the present purposes, I suggest that regardless of you fear, it is not real and in the end you die. What did your fear do for you?

Go to the middle of it, build it up, gentle, but I suggest you just build it up as best you can to the max and if you die, I wish you are great coming journey. But, I doubt that you fear will kill you... so the worst that could happen is it might go away.... or you might learn something from it. Do not try to evade, avoid or suppress it. That is a total waste of time... and certainly no booze or drugs. They will do nothing for you in the long run.

Best wishes on your journey.

Love ya, Jed
