Something else... No one is here.  I'm in Macdonalds right now looking around and I would wager that not one single person is actually here in their heads.  How could a person be old if they were here?  I would be clear and alive if I could be here throughout my life.  No question to you, I guess.  Maybe I'm wrong, but it feels right

Hi Jed.  Do you ever get humor out of how serious people take themselves?

Good question... I get humor out of darn near everything. However, from students who are serious about this journey, primarily my Nav Series students, I only get humor if we are both laughing, which happens quite often.

Love ya, Jed.

That's very interesting to me.  They develop more of a sense of humor as the go further.

Speaking of people taking themselves too serious... for the first time in my life, I have to be in charge of men.  There's a little boy in me who is frightened of it.  I'm afraid to tell them what to do or reprimand them because I'm scared and I'll want them to like me.  Any advice on this?

Jed, reading through the forum, I notice you talk several times about forgiveness.  I realize it's very important and serious, but what's the trick to it?  I would love to forgive everyone and move on.  I don't know if I've met anyone who's truly forgiven everyone and everything.  Assuming someone screwed you over very bad or whatever, how did you truly forgive them and move on?

Definitely start small, and then eventually you will realize that your forgiveness has nothing to do with the ''other'', it's all about how much baggage and b.s. are you willing to carry... forgive small... very, very small, until is expands up to the biggies.

**** happens in life but you don't have to cling to it afterwards. That just makes you smelly... and trust me, that is exactly what it does, literally.

Hi, Jed.  Quick question I've been thinking about:  when you wake up, like for good (TR), do you or can you slip back into the dream from time to time?

Good question. You can come back to play however, you never again with believe that it's real, or take it seriously. It's always just been play, but after T/R, you fully realize that. Of course, you can also go off and live like a sadhu or mast... but it doesn't matter what you appear to be doing, you will always know a different reality.

That makes sense to me.  Sometimes I wonder if I've woken up, but keep falling back asleep.  I know what this room looks like without my thoughts.  I understand being awake is not an experience because if it was, that would be mind things.  If I have this right, waking up is no past and no future.  You talk to a person fresh each day.  No bias.  IF (rather big if) I am on the right path and I'm awake, it sure feels like I fall asleep a lot.  Being awake is great, but I doze off in my everyday life.  But if I have it wrong, I'm open to accepting that and turning sadhu.  Or then again, maybe just trying something not so extreme.   :-\

Not advocating Sadhuship... but it's always there as an alternative. I don't have enough hair to qualify though.
