Sounds fine to me, however, never believe that any of it is real.

Love ya, Jed.

You forgot the best advice of all, though: When washing rice, know that the water is your own life

I think giving a **** about becoming H/A before getting T/R so that the "disaster" isn't as big kinda downplays a lot the value of the latter; why should a person care if she becomes, let's say, a crazy man in an Asylum if that brand new baby skin is now the owner of the entire **** universe? I would go to jail or live in a **** hole for that. I have never experienced it, but I doubt any genuine T/R person would care about the "effects" too, so, why you care? So that the nearby maya ecosystem isn't disturbed?

So, last time I meditated I caught "myself" thinking something automatically, without my conscious interference. After that session I experienced a little of the happiness born from, I don't know what, maybe "god consciousness"? Anyways, whatever state that was, I'm sure it was far from being manifested in it's full perfection, because there was still so much ego around, stopping me from merging completly in that majestic beauty.

Challenge is ''you'' (what on earth is that?) merging? With what already is?

I'm confused and love staying in that state... thank you.

Love ya, Jed.

Yes, yes; I get it. "I" just have to keep meditating until those delusional views of mine drop away...

Now I'll just share some mental **** I've been doing:

From the Pali Canon:

"O bhikkhus, when neither self nor

anything pertaining to self can truly and really be found, this

speculative view: 'The universe is that Atman (Soul); I shall be

that after death, permanent, abiding, ever-lasting, unchanging,

and I shall exist as such for eternity' -- is it not wholly and

completely foolish?"

If we take Gotama the contemplative to be T/R, this would confirm in buddhism the basic difference between god consciousness(connection to the I am) and genuine enlightenment; the difference between someone who has discovered the "I am"(ie, someone who's in the "edge" of T/R) and someone who has become T/R and came to the discovery that nothing is real, including any notion of a possible self.

But Gotama was probrably not T/R, and in his vision, you're deluded for calling "Truth" your real self, i.e, you're still clinging to a self according to buddhism, and still prone to suffering, ignorance and rebirth on hell realms. Instead, Gotama's view that the "I am" is not the ultimate comes not from the fact that there's something beyond(T/R), it comes form the fact that buddhism has the end of suffering as it's basis, not genuine enlightenment; this is why the atman/I am is downplayed and mind and behaviour control is held at a such high pedestal in this religion. Gotama fell for the trap.

We know very little of G. Just hand me downs from those who felt like interpreting what he said and did. However, from what I get about it, the universe still existed to him and he desired to save people... I leave you to any conclusions you wish to draw.. I really don't know.

Love ya, Jed.

I went beyond feel-goodism. At one point, the bliss stopped and what started to happen was the diminishment of the mental fires. The bliss born from the feeling of unity didn't matter anymore, because with the diminishing of those mental fires, I could do whatever the **** I wanted, be the biggest **** in the entire world, and go to jail after that and not care in the least about it all -- Not because of a secret source of bliss that would make the situation bearable, but because I wouldn't have the mental fires tormenting me.

There was I, thinking I was going beyond being a chess peace in Maya's hand just because I went beyond all the social conditionings of society; how foolish! Society's brainwashing is just "low level" Maya; it's range of delusion goes way beyond that...

There's no "supreme" mental state. Importance is something given by the mind to experiences; in fact, without the mind, experience wouldn't even be "experience" anymore.

I perceive now that no matter which mental state I may reach, my mind will always ask for more, thinking that one day it's thirst for more will be saciated, thinking that something "beyond" could do it for me.

It has always been like this. Were I a "normal" person, I wouldn't be here, searching for something more and using this forum as a dump box whenever I find a new shiny toy(mental state); I would be content with just waking up each day alive, having shelter, food, access to youtube, video games, movies, anime, people, animals, nature, science, subtropical summer...

I have 2 choices: Either I destroy the seeking, or I enjoy it. That's also the difference between buddhism/advaita/zen and general mysticism. I think I'll do the latter because I don't wanna become UG Krishnamurit 2.0.

Just read that rant where you posted the video about infinity; that's something I've been coming to accept recently, that mental states are infinite and that there's "equal" amount of infinity in a grain of sand as there is on the entire universe, or on a feeling. As Nisargadatta says, there's nothing that's actually impossible. Thought is a corruption, because by thinking a person is labelling something infinite with a "finite" concept, thus reducing the experience. This is also why reading whatever you write is pointless, because everything you say is a limitation, a container. Why do I still read what you write, though? Because the path feels lonely.

For years I've been living a nihilistic life, thinking of humans as no more than glorified chimps; to the point of becoming misanthropic and almost asexual because, for me, humans were just disgusting walking sacks of meat(this type of thinking was mainly caused by buddhist contemplation on the impurities of the body)... Yesterday, though, I feel madly in love with a woman in one of my nightly dreams, something that I thought of as impossible - her "perfection" was beyond the imaginative capabilities of my mind. I woke up humbled, depressed and with a new perspective on life. Now I know why I've been feeling like a dead rock for my entire life, cuz my life has been thought and possibiliy based up to now.

Today I've been doing something akin to a fusion between neti neti and I am contemplation, and mad things started to happen, i.e, sensations I thought of as impossible before, body moving on its own, feeling hands on my body etc... Also, my eyesight is incredibly better

Seeing it much more of a thinking process that folks realize. Dust off your think and yes, you will see better. When you do a little thinking it will also be clearer.

Love ya, Jed.
