Quote from Jim:
“We’re a bunch of ideas cobbled together to look like a form. There’s a body and there’s a mind, but the body is part of the field of consciousness, just dancing for itself and it’s no different than a plant or a chair or your phone—it’s all one thing. Because we are sentient, there’s a consciousness, and we have to deal with this thing we create, like a fortress of ideas around it. So we say, ‘This is my name and this is my heritage and this is my nationality and here’s my hockey team and these are all of the things that I am.’ That’s the mistake.”
So how do we avoid that mistake?
According to Carrey, there’s only one way:
“The only way to it is to step into the river of tears and the sorrows of your life. The things that everyone is avoiding with everything from drugs to drink to sex and gadgets and whatever else you can distract yourself with, all of it is designed for you to never stop going and moving and, for god sakes, not feel the abyss. Don’t allow yourself to feel the abandonment and pain that you’ve suffered. And I’ve done it; I’m through it. I’m sure there will be things that happen again, but I realized that by letting myself fall into it completely, that it’s not to be feared. Death is not to be feared.”
While some are writing off Carrey’s newfound Zen, it’s worth noting that the actor, who’s been open about his struggles with depression, seems to be doing genuinely great. For one, he looked great—gone is the scraggly beard, and he appeared sharp in a Tom Ford leather jacket. “I have no depression in my life whatsoever,” he declared. “I don’t have meds, I don’t have supplements, I don’t have anything. I’ve got a couple of fish oils a day and the rest of it is just good diet and a little bit of exercise and understanding that I don’t exist.”
Love ya, Jed. (I am NOT Jim.... and Jim is NOT a Nav Series Student)

May be Jed Mckenna is... Jim Carrey! :o :o :o
Somebody should definitely develop this investigation line.
-
Yeah, that usually doesn't go over well at parties. LOL
Jim's a Supernova.
-
He seems to have some mental knowledge of what is, or is not; but he's parroting you sounds like. And why would he be at that event? Trying to teach the public? Further James. Further.
-
If there's no meaning to any of this
how is anything the "most meaningless" ???

Love the part in this article where they go right back to feeling relieved at least that he's shaven his scruffy beard and was wearing a brand name jacket. Hahaha.
-
Jim is no longer coloring within the lines. :-*

Nicely said:
Whether he knew it or not at the time, a pivotal moment in Carrey’s “journey,” as he called it, was taking on the role of Kaufman in the 1999 film Man on the Moon. “It was about immersing myself in a character or a couple of characters so deeply that I realized that myself, Jim Carrey, was a character as well and something I could push aside at will,” he explained. “So once you know that, you go, ‘Who am I?’”
-
Yes, I was listening closely to that also.
Love ya, Jed.
-
well you are him Jed, and me and all ;)
-
That's my experience, but who knows and who cares?
Love ya, Jed
-
Yeah my experience too, every single time. But all experiences must be ignored as good old jed used to say ;)
-
Yeh, that's what he says... must be good... ::) ::) ::)
Love ya, Jed.

I woke up! and wish I was back asleep. Well not really, but Will I get used to being nothing? All Iv done for over a year now since quitting my job, gym, and hobbies, is basically, nothing, I haven't even left the house today, why? Because. Iv come to realise that's the only truthful answer I can give now, everything after "because" is just a story. But I'm also realising, ?, well I can't even know what I'm realising, so I'll just go back to what I was doing. Nothing. I wrote this just to see if I receive something?
-
What do you want to recieve?
Love ya, Jed.
-
Anything I guess? Ego may need amusement? I just write things now for amusement, like a comedy skit and a spiritual book. I guess I'm looking for them to get something started for me, something that makes me move and is fun?

:) :) :)

Thanks Jed!
Love Fruit, Erraticlee me...
-
My pleasure...

Jim is an amazing character indeed. :)
-
Watched this, was somewhat amused, thought - aw, bless, there's a guy who's maybe had a wee bit of a genuine experience and is now in the nutty phase.
Sort of made me nostalgic for days of yore. ;)
-
Jim Carrey gets it
:)
-
Perhaps a bit of a nutty phases, but that's all good.
Love ya, Jed.
-
Huh? That doesn't make any sense. Unless you meant "phase" rather than "phases".
-
JC, beautifully honest.

Jim Carrey gets it
:)
Interesting. You say he gets it, I say he's in the beginning stage somewhat intoxicated.
I wonder why that is? ;)
-
I think he gets it theoretically, but his egomania is still present with him, he's in a preacher phase (or phases), and we in Croatia have a saying: "Tiha voda brijege dere." - "Silent water moves the hills." He's too darn loud about this enlightenment thingy, behaves like Julie when she talks with Jed about zen in darndest. And that show offy guy that gives Jed spiritual lectures and Jed is interested like Lennon in "Let it be" movie :) (can't remember which book is it from, warfare probably). Less is more, and Jim kind of sounds like he stumbled upon this divine bullshit and is using it to cover up his dreamstate character bullshit. Not very truthy...
-
I get how you might think that. I don't really know. It's you I am interested in though.
Love ya, Jed.

The True-man returns from the show, takes a bow, does his interviews. And the show goes on as usual.

When I watched the Truman Show I found it boring as f*ck. What the hell was up with that ending!? It was just done.
Couple years later your evil witchery books destroyed everything and gave this movie a second watch. Made perfect sense!
I was blinded from the truth the whole time before all that.

Cheers dears...
