In a dream you run over a cat with your car, there appeared to be a time when the cat was alive and then dead. But all of that is just dream material, no you, no cat and no car.

Mind needs to have consequentiality because without it it cannot assign blame and assert some pretense of control. Neither mind, nor blame nor control exist other than as appearance in this dream.

Love ya, Jed.

Well, I wish I could pretend to understand any of this... wait, no I dont.
After taking a few classes in cognition, and seeing the actual studies on memory, I never needed further clarification. All long term memories are currupted. Your life as you remember it is a lie. So why not let it all go?

I read Jed's rant on this once again and my mind reacted "This is too extreme a view, and by the way, how is this even useful?".  ::)

Sorry what I meant was sequentiality not consequentiality (there is a slight difference as the latter implies causality), but yeah if there is no cat, no me and no car, there certainly will be no sequentiality.

for how do I know that first I ran into a cat and then the cat died? unless I use memory and thoughts. which are nothing but Maya's whispers, well I'm 98% sure.

But damn the implications of this are huge once I imagine all that is happening around me in order in time, are all happening at the same time and there is no squentiality, no order no time.

Nothing is useful for anything... unless one pretends, and then things can appear quite useful...

Conclusion, all is useless, including the forgoing.

Love ya, Jed.

Which weighs more a memory or a thought? What's the difference?  Hmmm. Where's my imaginary scale?  These questions are getting heavy.  If it's not too heavy I think I have enough space to hold the answer.  :D
