Just realised I have no issue with awareness being aware, the difficulty I had, or have is awareness aware of this awareness. If that makes sense. Awareness seems a no brainer, all seems to appear in it, but the question of awareness being aware of this awareness itself, felt unclear. I dare say, I could ask, unclear for wh0. Im not sure, regarding awareness itself being aware and awareness of that, almost beckons division, Awareness that is aware of sensation, but awareness perse, is somewhat unknowable, other than the fACT, ONE KNOWS THINGS OCCURING BY THE Fact that awareness is aware. Best I come back to it, aND PLEASE KNOW OR BE at least told, Im open for discussion

I'll give it a shot, just for fun-sake, until zenmaster Jed clubs me down with his little wooden stick.

If you read the rant correctly you will see that Jed calls the "fact" that you can be aware of the "fact" that you are aware, an illusion within the Dreamstate. And if you can be aware that you are aware, you can also be aware of the "fact" that you are awareness being aware of awareness being aware (et cetera ad infinitum, turtles upon turles all the way down).

But, an illusion within the Dreamstate means it is not true, but only appears to be true to you (which is, of course, never true). So I believe Jed means that if you look hard enough at the "fact" that awareness is aware of itself (within the illusion of the Dreamstate), you might be ably to "see" beyond the Dreamstate, which is the whole point of S/A (so I believe).

But I am sure Jed will correct me if I missed his point.
