Layers

Layers of belief.

Quote from Jesus #42...floating on the surface of the indoor pool "Even if you don't believe....you cannot travel in any other way than the road your senses show you.  And you must walk that road.....to the end."

Bits and pieces.

Mad Sweeney and his externalized lucky coin.  A leprechaun, composed of belief, believing in a coin composed of his belief.

Belief autophagy.  Whatshername swallowing the lucky coin...internalizing what was externalized....death to life (or, at least for now, living dead in an in-between state.....just started Season 2 so...we'll see)

sigh...IDK.  Just riffing metaphors, dancing around the truth.

The Dance of Mad Sweeney's Lucky Coin

Stood up on end
A flick and a spin
The ghost of a sphere appears

Sry!  The riffing metaphor machine has a life of its own, apparently

great show indeed thanks enjoyed it much. many fav scenes but most of all is season 2 chapter 4, when the father play Bach to his son, his son "i know Bach..."

"Listen! he just lost his wife after losing 3 children, this is grief, and yet the rising notes of joy shattering his own rules, can you here it? this is how man like me pray"

next scene son plays on piano, father enters the room listens with joy and says
"this is beautiful, like Bach" son smiles
"you composed this?
"i created the engine, i wrote the program that samples... but it was to mechanic so i gave it permission to shatter the rules.."
father looks like he wanna die right there "the computer compose this?"
"yeah.." smiles with joy

best scene i ever saw on any kind of screen, or even real life haha!!
nothing like a good shattering of our own rules  :D

Yes, I am a big proponent of breaking one's own rules, and other folk's rules as well but those with a modicum of caution....

Love ya, Jed.
