Groundhog Day, 1993 with Bill Murray, director Harold Ramis

Much more than just a metaphor!

Are you Arnold or Maeve from Westworld?

British comedian Stewart Lee does a bit on British immigration policy and nothingness. “You could leave your house unlocked, because it didn’t exist” (c)

I really enjoyed Zero and one. The journey in to and then back out of the illusion of me is the greatest, most complex, subtle and individualized creation of the whole. The flowers on the end of the branches of an immense tree. They begin as an integral part of the pattern nature of the tree. Bud, sprout, open into ever so slightly graduating conditions from sun side to lee side, from higher to lower, wet to dry. Then bloom into magnificence, each slightly different, and yet undeniably part of the one tree. We all express the language of connection with our part of the tree. Or we express the language of disconnection with our part of the tree. We bloom and share our fragrance for a while, then slowly wither... and fall. We break down into the soil and are reabsorbed by the tree. Energy once spent, returned to be spent again.

This movie reveals the "true" identity of Jed McKenna...
and show how we could  end up if he bites us.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but nothing can be explained... because it's all made up.

But, I guess that's a bit of an explanation... hmm....

Love ya, Jed

All good contributions, but also capable of becoming a distraction... from the task at hand.. you know.. what one.

Now, back to work... further.

Love ya, Jed.

Not a movie, it's a series, but I think it still can be posted here. The name is Kaiji. It tells the story of a guy in his mid 20's, a "loser" that hasn't done anything of value with his life yet, spent most of his time doing nothing, and due to his jealousy and frustration, ruined cars of rich people as a past time

One day he finds himself having to pay a very expensive loan to a underground loan sharking company, because of reasons... He's given a choice between entering a casino cruise and play a game in order to have his loan erased, or becoming a work slave to that company... He choses the former

In this cruise he goes from being the average selfish naive guy to becoming a kind of jesus of gambling, helping not only himself but other people too

I like this because it provides a nice insigth into the human mind
