Geez Jed.. it's a chasing butterfly festival. Everything has happened, like a cat running after the light emmited from a flashlight. Dog chase their tails and humans think they know it all. Pointless.

The fact it's pointless means you are free to make up any point you want... and never forget it's made up.

Love ya, Jed.

Children seem to know the truth, but then adults enter a conspiracy to convince them that some lies are true, in order to form an ego. With each new experience, adults mislead children, moving them away from the truth.

Yes Lian, very true in my experience as well.

Cheers.

in my experience, it appears the ego forms, not because of conspiracy, but because all actors must wear a mask. we must become what we are not in order to play roles. this seems to begin long before the age of two. granted, two is about the time muscle development has usually proceeded enough that formation of a verbal statement is possible, but ego is doing its thing long before we're able to talk about it.

it's not a conspiracy. it's a play. with each new experience, as grown-ups, we have a choice to act with curious awareness or disinterested ignorance.
it only becomes a choice when it's accepted as one.

Thanks for that. A conspiracy is when two or more people agree to do something. Almost everyone has unconsciously agreed to support Maya/ego, to try and bring escapees back to the fold and also to limit the leakage of others into freedom.  Conspiracy doesn't necessarily mean good of bad, just an agreement.

Love ya, Jed.

the more i peel it back though, it's not the good or bad connotations of conspiracy that's rubbing me wrong. it's the broadly-sweeping statement that adults are misleading children and turning them away from truth. it doesn't have to be that way, and often it isn't that way in my dream. what's more, this seems like the kind of sh!t you've asked us to keep from falling into here. you've repeatedly directed us to stay focused on ourselves, and with sound reason. these nebulous and depersonalized statements that sound like 'the way it is' are misleading; not capable of moving me away from Truth, but just as potentially insidious as the lies initially pointed out.

thanks for bearing the rant.

there are more neurotic cats dogs and birds and even fish attached to human beings than there are in the wild.
Was in a shop the other day and over heard a young child ask the mother "why did they have to wrap presents?"  The woman gave an explanation and was slightly embarrassed, and the child had the look of someone tryng to make sense of it.  All pure and innocent, but that is how it works

"Back to the first thing you might want to do, see it, look for it."

Many times I've fallen into the trap of creating a new war against the war, trying to stop it, trying to change it. I like the emphasis on just seeing it, understand it, without trying to change it, relaxing and enjoying it. Of course, that is the real change.

A profound metaphor, the declaration of war, until I realize it's not a metaphor. Someone told me once "You are either at war, or in rapport."
Thanks Mr. Jed-i

Wise saying...

Forum Rule: Only talk about your experiences. It's the only place that ''we'' have a chance of make a different and perhaps experiencing the nature of H/A and T/R. I am far to busy to engage in ''he said, she said'' or other types of debates. I have better ways to spend my time.

I agree 100% that one cannot keep fighting after his eyes are open, but I read something in warfare which quiet surprised me. you said in page 202:

"Harry was an adult, a king in a state of surrender. Threatening to **** daughters and smash old people's head and spit babies on pikes while marching his ragtag little army against an overwhelming force because to do so was clearly indicated."

Its very hard to compare. but ISIS also is doing the same, are they more grown up than the rest of the world for real? I'm massively confused

Confusion is excellent. It usually precedes learning. The more the confusion the more the learning. Just wait and see if that holds in your experience.

Love ya, Jed.

P.S. Do you know if ISIS actually exists.. and are they doing what you think they are doing? How do you know what's going on? I suggest reading the Koran and going to those countries (many years ago). I've done both and I doubt if you have a clue, perhaps worse, you are possiby believing the media.

I was raised to believe that love is bondage and any relationship is based on dependency. I am curious about other people's experience.

it doesn't matter what you 'were raised to believe'. the only thing that might possibly matter is what you are choosing to believe now.
