I have one additional distinction that could be of value.
Feelings are something that you can experience in your fingers or toes, heat, pressure, cold, etc.
Emotions are your conversations about that feeling, bad, good, want, don't want.
Have a look at this.
The way it works is you might have a tightness in your stomach and a conversation in your head saying 'I'm not feeling good about this situation'. You don't need to verbalize it because your feet may just turn around on their own and walk out. But, that is just my blah, blah, blah.
