Place it next to Van Halen's 1984 and wonder which one to Play.

The thing is, the book won't get you there.  Only picking a spot and digging relentlessly gets you there.  Why read it?  Why do anything?  As Alan Watts said when the question was put to him, "then why meditate?"  Because it's groovy.  And Jed is one kick ass groove.

...Of course, Downunder here we get a different Amazon experience, so my review gets the place all to itself here. Looking at something on the U.S. parent site, I checked out what others were saying, bemused to see the apparent vitriol invoked in readers who seem perturbed that immutable Truth hasn't evolved between publications...
