Jed Rant: The perceived is ...
« on: June 26, 2016, 03:39:02 am »
Settle into your experience and feel your physical sense. Is that apparent experience you? Nope, how could it be if you are experiencing it, or appear to be experiencing it. Try this also with hearing and seeing. Are any experiences ''you''? Spend some time with this.

The perceived is the perceiver which only leaves the verb perceiving. Perceiving is all that is happening. You may think you are perceiving a you, but how is that difference than a sensorial experience? Isn't that experience of a ''you'' even more flimsy than the experience of sensing?

Where does this leave ''us''. Simple... you are not, but this apparent universe is your self. All that you experience is self, that's why it's so challenging to step outside of it and view it (i.e., get it). Your sensory experience only appears to not be you.Who else could it possibly be? How could it be any other way?

Contemplating doesn't mean attempting to make sense out of this. It's more like you might contemplate little fish in an aquarium. Just watch in wonder, like a child. The seeker is the sought and the sought is the seeker.

Love ya, Jed.

It seem so so very simple now.All of it, couldnt be simpler.
What is hard is bringing honesty and humbleness in the desire to go where this journey leads. Most of the times I think I want TR just to be the best, projecting upon TR like people project upon a God although this misses entirely the point.  :o :o

Thanks Ares. Remember, this is not a race or a competition.  You  are the finish line but have yet to realize it.

The perceiver and the perceived, just like the finger pointing at the moon. There is no moon.

Humor me with my play on words.

Does these two statements mean the same?

Perceiver and perceived is one thus, perceiving only.
No perceiver and no perceived thus, perceiving only.

Regards,
Sam

Dear alog,

Maybe, in "Now what cannot be perceived?" It is the 'not' but the 'I am.'

Consciousness is made up concept which exists in duality only.

right now I doubt even awareness exists or not, although nis claims it exists.

Searching for a seeker is like looking for the glasses, while they are on the nose.
Ironically it is a search for exactly that, what allows clear seeing.
