Jed Rant: On Happiness
« on: June 10, 2017, 11:27:35 am »
Dear Members and Lurkers:

If the following applies to you, you will be made immediately aware of that by your reaction to it or against it. I suggest you just watch your experience and be as open as possible to whatever arises.

Embrace your misery . :-[ :-[ :-[.. It's just another story.  :o :o :o And all your blah, blah, points to the rather obvious fact that none of this search makes sense,  ??? ??? ??? never has and never will. Let's face it, you have spent years of time and energy trying to figure it out and have failed... what has all your apparent ''thinking'' got you?  :-\ :-\ :-\

Are you happy, free of nasty entanglements, liberated from fear and concerns .... how successful have you been at that? (still reading?) This is exclusive of T/R. It's about being a happy person living a joyful life. Isn't that what you want, and yet, I'm pretty damn sure you have failed. My first clue being that you are reading this right now.

So, welcome to Failures Anonymous, a group of the few people in the world with the possibility of embracing their failure and letting go of the source of all their unhappiness...their desires. Old Buddha was right on in that point.

OMG, what would you be if you had no desires ... try happy! What would happen to the rest of the world? It would appear happy (to you) and perhaps even disappear (with a little luck). Where would that leave family, job, career, a living, all that.  ??? ??? ??? You will only find out by doing it .. as for results, you would not care one bit and your chances of worldly success would increase manifold.

If you are still reading, I commend you. Maya/ego is powerful yet rather touchy. She doesn't like this kind of speaking at all. Can't say I blame her, it's very threatening. It is my wish that you can sense her resistance, resentment, jealousy and other not-so-hot qualities. That is the first step in seeing through her game.

Her's is very much a finite game, I highly recommend an infinite game. Way more fun and opens up many opportunities to contribute to others in this dream... which is a worthwhile idea while you are still thinking there is such a thing as others. After you have realize there are no others, then you will probably play on for the shear joy of playing. Nothing more is called for... and in my experience there is nothing more that that anyways.

Love ya, Jed.

I feel that. I just fell ill last night and spent nearly all of today trying to muster the energy to clean up the puke.

Right now I'm sitting on the couch in the living room/kitchen, just staring at nothing, body and mind collapsed, reading a bit, watching some videos, feeling the body, and this black and white cat just popped in from the balcony and quietly started exploring the house. I find that unexpected, delightful surprises like that happen when I am in a state of surrender like now.

Failures Anonymous. My name is Malcolm, and I'm a failure. No matter what I've done (and I've tried it all) it hasn't worked. Not one iota. Nada.

We are expected to make expecations from waking reality that we would seem silly to have from dreams. Hmm...
