Jed Rant.. The Creator
« on: September 10, 2016, 08:00:14 am »
In my experience (and beyond experiences) there is a sense in humans that they are, that they exist. It could be explained as a deep understanding. But there is more to it.

What would the world appear to you as ... without that sense that you are? In other words, do you have to be here for there to even be a here? Where is here?

Contemplate... your answers matter, not mine.

Love ya, Jed.

Without the sense of 'me' there may or may not be a world, I have no way of knowing that. Maybe yes, since that sense of 'me' is only a dream-character in the Dreamstate, as much dreamed as the universe is, there's no reason the dream will stop because the sense of 'me' stopped... because it is not me dreaming the world, it is "that-which-is" dreaming 'me' and the world and the universe.

So, I cannot know.

From an ego point of view, it doesn't matter if there is someone the world appears to or not, it goes on and this is a source of suffer (the world will go on without me). From Brahman's view it doesn't go anywhere, maybe because there are no points to go.

In the morning just before opening the eyes it is, i don't.
Between two train of thoughts, between breaths...
It is always, before I.

I'll go with....  a mishmash kaleidoscope.  A neverending oozing lava lamp.

Actually its weird though.  That's what I imagine THAT would come across as (the universe/world/life) but actually without a self I don't think there would be any paying attention to the kaleidoscope, so actually there would just be nothing.

Ok, just fun conjecture as I Starbucks before work.  I should go back to my self dismantling now to eventually come to a real answer. :P

World there is always a "I" exist?
I have a question: Is there a place where there is no "I"?
Anyone with a "I" feel the person, that is me.
I am you, you are me! ? ???

Thanks for the suggestion, I do appreciate the thought... and please don't be offended by my response.

Don't waste your time on discussing or debating concepts such as those. You would do well to let go of any academic **** and focus on you, only you. You are all that matters and you are the only opportunity you have to find out about you.... you and now... nothing else matters, and neither does that as you will some day come to realize.

Love ya, Jed.

Here only exists in relation to a me that is there, so yes I would have to be there for there to be a here. Without an "I" there is just whatever is. Undifferentiated. Words fail, words separate.

focus- what would the world appear to me as without that sense that i am? ... i am focusing on the question. letting the i am drop ...  drop . . .  d r o p.

softening. i releases. am remains.

i don't know if i have to be here, but i am. i can't say where here is without showcasing my ignorance.

little bastard says, 'silly you, you can't say anything without showcasing your ignorance, so why not have another go at the question?'

...'in other words, do you have to be here for there to even be a here?'

here and i am appear intertwined, but can be unraveled. here isn't necessary for i am, but i am is necessary for here and there to be contemplated/talked about.

...'where is here?'

next to there, separated by nothing but appearances in a dream.

I can only think of a chambered nautilus and its siphuncle, which passes through all the empty, previous chambers, but, metaphorically, I cannot think of a human equivalent, but it seems there should be, metaphorically, an equivalent, because humans are so so special & everything is a shadow of us, or God.

i sit at stoplights, wondering, projecting 'my consciousness' into the seats of passing cars. am i here? am i there? how would i know?

then i see the nonsense of a me, sitting in a car, imagining what it is to be someone else, sitting in another car. i laugh and laugh, then forget.

What would 1 appear to you as without 0? In other words, does 0 have to exist for there to be 1? What is 1?

Really verging on the unthinkable there with that question there Jed, nice one. Quite the cone... err, Cohen.
