What is the slippage in you not paying attention to all that matters. And, nothing that matters is out there. In fact, there is no out there out there.

Focus, focus and more focus.

Love ya, Jed.

Does that mean to turn the focus away from the "story"? Is the story the "out there"?
There is no out there and nobody in here.  Hmmm.  focus on what?  What matters?

Feels like the less I think the better. Don't want to be distracted by 'out there' right now cuz it feels pretty nice to just float a bit.
Even though I'm at work which is 'out there' in storyland, still kinda floaty.  Very nice......

It's been a slow clinic day and began reading a book I just picked up:  Consciousness and the Absolute, Final talks of Nisargadatta.   Really great..  calls us "food bodies with the knowledge I Am."  and then "you are not this chemical "I AM !". There are some times when he just clicks, other times not so much.  Really, I think nothing will satisfy short of the Absolute.  A girl can dream.....

The way I currently see it is that the whole transmission thing is about call/response that is utterly spontaneous, purposeless and impersonal (it's not even that but I need to use words!). The seemingly separate parts of the Universe are constantly receiving and sending out transmissions and thus affecting each other in ways that human mind is not equipped to fathom.

On a very basic level, for example, this morning something that I call my cat came up to my bed and meowed, and something I call my body made a sound. My mind then goes and says: "there is a separate being called cat that belongs to a separate being called A and because I love her I am going to reply to show her that I care". If the mind is not believed that my response is directed by me for a specific purpose then all I see is this spontaneous, purposeless and impersonal call/response mechanism. On a bigger scale, this call/response can also be seen at the level of the planets - the Earth turns around the Sun and changes its axis (response) because of the the Sun's gravity (I believe it's called precession).

I believe that the net of call/response relationships is much more complex and intricate than the examples above because the whole Universe is doing this call/response thing with itself (and that includes cat/A and Earth/Sun call/response). Therefore transmission from teacher can or cannot have a certain result depending on a myriad of interactions between seemingly separate parts of the Universe.

Obviously, if we got rid of all the concepts then even that is not true but, as i said, I need to use words, therefore, inevitably, I need to tell lies!:-)

Good conclusion, all words are indeed lies. Now, I suggest you start introducing, in generous amounts, the word ''appears''. A cat appears, a you appears, and one and on it goes. A possible substitute for appears is ''arises'', equally as useful in your useless endevours.

You appear to be making some headway, now appear to fool me in larger and larger degrees. I love it.

Cheers.

I've been thinking about your message as if I wrote it, and its weird but are we talking to myself?
I was reading some of a book like I wrote it in being, a message to myself through a meat conduit or something. A weird necessary proxy for transmission to go to and from i don't know what. surfacing in being. i don't know what to confidently call myself. Typing this is bizzare because i was thinking about how to phrase this and my eyes drifted below the text field to a box that says "return to this topic" and I feel positively schitzophrenic for the moment. i think what i want to comminicate to you is not true
