Jed - I will say one wonderful for me thing that I did get from reading your books - other than pure entertainment and inspiration; I finally accepted my ego personality completely. I had been trying to get beyond the state of ego slayer for a while and had realized already that ego was a requirement for this passion play of mine - but I still compulsed over outing ego. I felt like a dog chasing my tail. Immersion in Jed thought for several weeks really changed my perspective on ego and suddenly I adored every quirky dimple in my personality. Oh so like - I have stopped seeing myself from the outside. That's about when I stopped apologizing for myself. That stirred my nest a bit but they've all learned to deal with it now. I feel more honest and frankly that part of me doesn't give a damn what most people think. ;D  I did very much enjoy the series Jed and thanks for hosting this site. I was afraid you had just disappeared. Glad you are here.

I disappeared a long time ago, but like the Energizer Bunny, I just keep going and going, at least something keeps going and going. Damnedest thing. ::) ::) ::)

Love ya, Jed.

I have always been confused by the difference between HA and TR.  Possibly because one or both have so far escaped me.  One question might help clarify - does HA involve seeing no-self? Jed please answer.

It can, but that's no necessary. Seeing no self is certainly necessary for T/R.

H/A is just about doing what you should have already done, grow up. If and when T/R follows it is much easier, I assure you.

Love ya, Jed.

Is HA mainly to do with recognising and unfriending the ego?

HA is about growing up and stop believing in the stories, fairy-tales and fluffy dream-stuff.

What do I really want ? Hmmm .

Yours truly

Honestly she wants a nicely worded biographical story with diverse unique experiences. Seems her memory isn't that good at connecting dots or self-promoting herself like Steve Jobs, she wants to break some stereotypes and stay mercurial if she likes. She wants to escape from all plans that chain her. She wants to have a nice body - a light weight one. I want to lead a princess like life, if she likes.

May be simulate Harry Potter Universe with Magic Leap Technology ;)   Or may be an ability to express views like Mr.McKenna, with absolute clarity and don't give a damn attitude ;)

Apparently yours truly wants to convince that she already has all that she desires within her "body suit" so that she can be lazy. But, so is everyone, living within their body and all they can experience is their body suit!

Nullifying all the above wants, May be whoever/whatever Iam could give 100% attention right here to whatever that happens within the body. May be that is True Wisdom ? Yours truly is not really the doer. But response happens to the stimulus. What is yours truly? A decision maker who cannot be grasped/found/located ?

For me there's a difference between a 'don't give a damn attitude' and the quiet assurance that nothing matters.

Perhaps a compromise in the middle... hootlessness.

Cheers.

I don't see how to get to HA from where I am.  Pointlessness has consumed me.  HA seems pointless.

If it seems pointless to you then why be concerned. Forget about it and get on with your life.

The real you was never born, how could it die?

People will tell you that you were born, but that what just the space-suit.
