Jed Rant: You can't be here now... can you?
« on: September 10, 2017, 08:24:07 am »
Dear members and lurkers:

Here is a video which explains, much better than I, the nature of time and you perception of it. Be here now, being in the now, being in the present, etc. ... while admonitions of which I am guilty at times, are factually impossible. You can get close but never get the banana.

Enjoy.

Love ya, Jed.

Its extraordinary that so called light/energetic waves/particles enters the eye, ears, etc and that information is converted to the sensed world in all its attributes, and appears to be projected to their source. That said, I used to think truth was akin to moving like a river creating a new path as it flowed, then it became apparent that if what is seen is able to be seen, then that to must be flowing at the same rate, so if everything is flowing, it makes flow void. These days, I don't feel flow, I feel there is only this one moment, and within this one moment that encapsulates all, is utterly still. Where can the all move to, but within the all are the appearances, the projections that appear to be moving. Is this description important. NA, Just how it feels. Cool video though, and interesting

I don't suppose that the words would be a distraction from the very thing they were trying to convey in the first place.

It's understood that resistance in the form of solving something "problematic" does not resolve or fix it rather creates and feeds it.

Words are a necessary evil, revealing and hiding at the same time.

Cheers.

Talking about no banana, I once slipped on the peel of my imagination and hit my head on oblivion.  I caught an infinitely expansive wave, the speed of light, and slid past definition.

At some point I washed up on the shore of nowhere else to be and life's timeline rolled up like a window shade settling all accounts in a flash.  I sat at home with God before and after birth and death. No time had passed since I had seemed to live.

Clearly, the solution is to train my brain to perceive faster than yours.

I wanted to listen to it, yet my puppy Little Rose did not let me. She came and started to observe eating me apple. Meanwhile I tried to watch this video, I found myself observing Little Rose eating (my) apple. Puppies are the best. And, no, could not be now. But, I tried :)

That's a truth seeker if ever I heard one!

Interesting to me how I still felt resistance at first.... "he's saying there is no now, god, it's the only thing there is" (belief)

If it really is the only thing there is, why am I defending it?

That's just too funny.

Great vid.

I wonder how long it will take for the black hole to suck him in....

Not too long me thinks.
